Out In the open fields not far from the dog sitters Bishop Auckland yard dogs the owner had permission to roam, we were really having good fun as it’s not often you can let a dog off his or her leash in the local dog walking services business today what with all the local council guide lines which you will know all about as a proud dog owner.

With a rush what at first we took as a brown rodent of some kind came scampering along towards us, it was we soon found out Libby the cross bread Chihuahua and it looked like it didn't weigh more than 6lb, so Butch went dancing around sniffing and showing off in general.

When Butch tried sniffing Libby around backside he received unwelcome snarls and some very aggressive snaps that he responded to in kind of the same way and Libby went scuttling away back to her owners house at the other side of the field which now know was her families home. We didn't see her again for a few weeks during our regular local dog walking.

Roughly six weeks or so after the same little ruddy dog showed up again with a mate, the mate was a full bred Chihuahua by the silly name Whopper although it still only looked to be around 5/6lb anyway Butch was like a shot again trying sniffing and bouncing around, Whopper obviously had other ideas and considered he was to Libbys protector and husband, he went for Butch with a venom. This shook Butch and he was off like a bullet, absolutly hilarious watching a 4 stone 4lb Labrador flee from a small dog a lady could put in her purse, never bothered his owner with the details so Butch could keep his local dog walking street cred I’m though sure he knew from the glance he give me as I left.
